Russian ruble official rate jumps 75.21 kopecks to 48.95/euro

MOSCOW, Mar 26 (PRIME) -- The official rate of the Russian ruble against the euro, set Wednesday by the central bank for Thursday, jumped by 75.21 kopecks to 48.9521 rubles.

The ruble also appreciated 48.22 kopecks against the U.S. dollar to 35.4494 rubles.

The value of the dual-currency basket, comprising U.S. $0.55 and 0.45 euros, tumbled by 60 kopecks to 41.53 rubles.
